Bingo This is because for anything that’s not a todo list, multiple database calls are involved Once you put it on the same rack, with nanosecond latency, nobody ever goes back
Realizing that all this serverless is a scam made by servants of complexity. Once a DB is involved, you want everything in the same region/datacenter. My "serverless" stack is now servers in iad1/Washington.

How to make great products Make it (work, great, magic) 1. Blitz the first version. As ugly as possible. But get to that aha moment 2. Add core features to "Complete" it, sand the edges, etc 3. Compress. Magic is defined as "put in a little, get out a lot" That's how we do it
