Barely touches serotonin receptors at all. Behavioral studies are the worst when it comes to understanding receptor activity. Ashwagandha works on GABA and the cholinergic system. Great herb, but yes it does have a slight inhibiting effect, but also stimulates the thyroid.

I saw a post the other day that claimed animals more often flee from the voice and noises of a human sooner than they would a predator. If this is the case, I don't blame them at all. We can be scary.

Anonymous is a decentralized group with no leader. This guy is a fraud. By way of claiming to be anonymous, he forfeits the right.

Newscaster actually says something along the lines of people in the middle east area found an ancient method of fighting back. I don't think water is mentioned as a weapon at all, besides Shamalayan's character saying he thinks they don't like it.

They may have captured a few birds, and these birds may now sing their song, but the rest of the flock still flies freely, as they always have.

Hmm, note to self, make knife type weapons in indie rpg have an extremely high variance from min to max damage, with a crit bonus + damage over time /w bleed.

If you choose the right scents, you can actually influence the neurochemistry of those around you.
Cinnamon is mentally stimulating, lavender/linalool is calming, sassafras oil is empathic, etc.
Twitter if used correctly is probably better than therapy. You surround yourself with various sorts and throw your thoughts into the wind, and if they are acknowledged by others, you are able to see this, and thus integrate what serves you while throwing away that which does not
$Nano gang, have you heard of the Web Monetization Standard? Seems right up our alley, with grants being given to novel technological ideas that can help unite payments and services throughout the web. Seems like this could apply to our use case verbatim
@lydiaastro
Shit would collectively hit the fan if everyone woke up to their telepathic abilities at once. Zero privacy. Zero secrets. Zero false flattering remarks. Only brutal honesty.
Having a separation between our words and our thoughts is a gift. We have a long way to go first.
@shakoistsLog
Everything has become so streamlined and oriented towards profit and maximizing sales, that game design has become formulaic.
I think this may be a determining factor why games these days lack 'soul'.

Here is another mind blowing fact about nicotine addiction... its near 100% placebo. Scientists have known nicotine is non-addictive for over 70-80 years now.
But the suggestion is what makes the addiction real. Influence is power over reality. That is the grand secret.
@realDonaldGazer
Third eye really just means your brain is active and working in good condition. If you mean the specific part of the brain that is connected to the eyes, the pineal gland, and by open, you mean is secreting DMT type molecules, then you should notice a warm fuzzy feeling/ euphoria
@rangermonk1
I foresee some problems if we are to let children or people who claim to be their parents pick them up at a random location. I don't like the public school system, but lets think this through, there is a very real logical reason for the bus driver to not let the kids out.
Instead of splitting people into different castes 'ADHD, autist, schizo, psycho, etc' and medicating them so, we should split people into categories of impromptu, scholars, story tellers, warriors, etc. instead, and provide medicines to both strengthen and balance these traits.
'In times of war, as in life, surround yourself with people of value, virtue and high morals, because it's always better to lose, perish and vanish in glory than to live in shame.'
If offered, would you accept the gift of telepathy? Meaning:
-Reading minds
-Always being able to tell when someone is lying to you
-Knowing the intent behind other's actions & words
I wonder if such a thing could be more of a nuisance than a gift.
My schizo take of the day: I sometimes feel like widespread drug + alcohol use creates an egregore that collectively influences those who partake
The reason why some drugs follow archetypal patterns may be based on those who use them, just as much as the actual pharmacology does
@NgoloTesla
'Highly fed and lowly taught', Shakespeare had some absolute bangers that are just as good if not better today then they were when they were written.
Modern day fraternal brotherhoods, rather than properly initiating their acolytes, instead go through the notions and perform the rituals attempting to recreate the mysteries artificially.
The real mystery schools are word of mouth tradition, not gated through the works of men.
i support anyone in the $XNO community who is actively working on things to improve Nano
i do not support a single “community member” who attacks, harasses, acts entitled, or otherwise makes it crappier for those who are working to liberate us from the legacy financial systems

Look, if you have never cut out the still beating heart of your tribal enemy, and eaten it while still beating in front of the previous owner, you have no room to comment on things such as "culture" and "taste".
When one picks a side, one also is choosing to ignore part of themselves. In order to remain whole, and to align oneself with the whole, one must accept differences and paradoxes, which are just competing and complimentary parts of the all.
To be whole, is also to be holy.
If you really want to know how close you are to ascension, enlightenment, bliss, etc., one of the best markers in my opinion is how music makes you feel
Can you taste it? Does it taste you?
Do animals even enjoy music..? Do we? Do you?
@realDonaldGazer
If you want a trip, look up the drug known as telepathine, then compare it to this compound produced by the pineal gland, pinoline. Both are MAO inhibitors and can increase the potency of DMT by 50-fold. If DMT is produced in the brain, this may be one result of an open 3rd eye.

He has literally been talking about you for 2 hours now I think. He considers your bants to be an "internet assault". He lost all points from me and I can't imagine anyone but grifters sticking with him after this.

Great thread. I can relate completely. What helped me out was identifying the difference between guilt and shame. Guilt is self imposed, shame is imposed by others. I think shame is a negative emotion, no different than fear or hate. Guilt on the other hand = growth.
@footslurper1488
I know everyone here is joking about this being real, but in case someone thinks this is serious, know that this will kill you by shutting down your liver. You will turn yellow, be unable to excrete toxins from your body, and die bloated in a hospital bed. Poisoned by waste.
The funny thing about Weird Shit™, is that you don't even need to necessarily believe in it for it to happen to you.
All you have to do is be a good person with an open heart and an open mind, and if you let it, the Weird Shit™ will instead come to you.
'The Fountain' is a pretty cool film. Heavily esoteric coded throughout.
I am still trying to unravel all that it implies. If I had to take a guess, it is that purification is like a flame that burns everything that isn't yours, away. And how trying this process can be.
You are in the arena, trying things. I am in the arena, looking to redirect human metabolism to reliably biosynthesize tryptamine and phenethylamine type psychoactive alkaloids with the aim of making mystical experiences attainable to all.

There is nothing stupid about this. It is done intentionally, obviously, for a reason to separate the two for his viewers. I don't even know why I am explaining this to you, as it is fairly self evident, you just wish that he treated all crypto as one and the same. It isn't.
If I could only give one piece of nutritional advice for the rest of my life, it would without a doubt be recommending you to increase your intake of iodine.
Whether as a supplement or just munching down seaweed. This mineral has the potential to change most people's lives.

So what is the answer here? I would think the guy should wise up and stop wasting his time with her. Then what? She and him both just become another statistic?
I really wonder if this situation and similar is why we see so many unhappy and single millennials.

Yea, cardamom is great with coffee. I would suggest even going the full chai route; vanilla, cardamom, cinnamon, fennel, and nutmeg. If you want to go the extra mile... a pinch of raw cacao, sassafras, and mint can make a cup divine.
