5/ Finally, we used GeoMx WTA to validate both human-defined and machine-learning-identified protein features, confirming that spatial metabolic-immune interactions are important in TME states driving NSCLC progression.

4/ We applied deep learning in two ways: 🧠 1️⃣To identify robust, interpretable spatial features associated with patient outcomes. 🧩2️⃣ Using graph neural networks (GNNs) to identify tissue regions that distinguished patients with different clinical outcomes.

2/ We spatially profiled treatment-naïve tumour cores from 84 NSCLC patients who went on to receive chemotherapy. Using spatial proteomics (PCF) and spatial transcriptomics (GeoMx WTA), we mapped how spatial features and cell-cell relationships influence recurrence-free survival.
