While there have been therapeutic advancements in treatments for non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), we have a limited understanding of how the tumour composition and spatial heterogeneity influences...

5/ Finally, we used GeoMx WTA to validate both human-defined and machine-learning-identified protein features, confirming that spatial metabolic-immune interactions are important in TME states driving NSCLC progression.

4/ We applied deep learning in two ways: 🧠 1️⃣To identify robust, interpretable spatial features associated with patient outcomes. 🧩2️⃣ Using graph neural networks (GNNs) to identify tissue regions that distinguished patients with different clinical outcomes.

2/ We spatially profiled treatment-naïve tumour cores from 84 NSCLC patients who went on to receive chemotherapy. Using spatial proteomics (PCF) and spatial transcriptomics (GeoMx WTA), we mapped how spatial features and cell-cell relationships influence recurrence-free survival.

1/ After a huge team effort, we’re thrilled to share our latest study exploring the tumour microenvironment in NSCLC 🎯We integrated spatial proteomics, transcriptomics, and machine learning to uncover how the architecture and metabolism of the TME relate to patient outcomes.🧵👇

It’s probably not a surprise that healthy longevity is linked to a lifelong web of support from family, friends, community, and faith. What’s new: this social advantage shows up in molecular markers of aging. 🧬 The GrimAge methylation clock detected significantly slower aging.

Such a great day. Two Trop2 ADCs (SG, Dato-DXd) just replaced 1L chemo for IO-ineligible mTNBC — a huge unmet need. Pros and cons for the choice of each. Dato-DXd, though, looked safer, with no G5 toxicity (vs 7 deaths with SG). Proactive management of ADC toxicities is key.

Important perspective from Prof @dplanchard — after years of lagging behind other EGFR mutations, exon 20 is finally gaining momentum. Progress is real, but access and next-line options still need urgent attention. #ESMO25

Researchers led by Assoc Prof @aruthak Kulasinghe have discovered “molecular fingerprints” in tumour biopsies that predict whether a patient will respond to Keytruda immunotherapy. As patient advocate Michel Itel says, this is more than research, it’s hope https://t.co/HkMfiN5SEi
