Shed a few tears watching this. It's incredible to be able to work on technology that impacts people's lives like this.

I'm not very embedded in the CTF community anymore but has there been discussions on team size?. I've always enjoyed the no team size limit of most CTFs but I feel like things may have become a bit excessive recently with all the team merges/collabs. How can small team compete?.

Crazy! As this was blowing up I was presenting a tool that fixes this exact problem at TreeHacks. It generates portable executables from docker images. no more pip, docker, npm. needed from users.

I suspect that a lot of CTF players can't stand higher education. After repeatedly having to deeply figure out how things work being told a bunch of concepts and facts is very dull. deeply = across many layers of abstraction.

The all-hands is 100% worth a watch.
Neuralink was kind enough to open their doors for me to tour their headquarters a few weeks back. It was an amazing experience and a day I'll never forget. This was at a company wide meeting at the end of the day. Thank you to everyone who made this possible. Hope y'all enjoy!

tar archives are just a series of files with 1024 null bytes at the end. concatenating two tar archive is nothing more than removing the 1024 trailing bytes and concatenating the files. no need to parse/serialize anything.

I'm outraged that the serde project thought it was acceptable to silently start shipping non-reproducible binaries. I don't think individuals should be blamed but the fact this went through without people noticing shows how easy a supply-chain attack can be to pull off.

when you `zig build` dockerc, an x86 and an arm runtime are compiled. Then dockerc itself is compiled with both of the runtimes embedded. the zig build system couldn't make cross-compilation simpler and it's just a couple of lines in build.zig:. declare two runtimes with

Discord is lowering the free upload limit back to 10MB, citing operational and financial concerns. The previous free upload limit was 25MB.

@timClicks Is trie 1 the one that uses the standard hashmap whereas trie 2 the one that uses fxhash?. If that's the case it's slightly confusing to call them 2 distinct trie implementations when the only difference is the hash function they use.

@saywhatagain How are the bots able to tell what's on the t-shirts? Seems like it requires more computer vision than you'd usually see being used for spam. There must be some cloud vision APIs that spit out "t-shirt with x written" but I'm still impressed by the sophistication of the bots.
