eg. narratives like "women can be scientists too!" & "girlboss!" implicitly still put men at the center. to be fair as a man my assortment of available archetypes do largely revolve around women, and i certainly don't mind, but it's clearly easier to escape this on the male side

my most feminist take is that the primary roster of female archetypes kinda sucks. if i were a woman i would indeed be pretty annoyed that most encouraged self-characterizations revolve around men (in defiance as much as submission) so idk cool that they've got books like this

I'm quite happy with launch. We now have the best multi-chain gaming app available in Defi. Providing revenue on the daily to SolidX foundation and it's partners. From 3 different chains, soon 4. Really happy with performance and dedication of my dev team. We are developing

a friend has given me custody of several thousand dollars of airsoft gear (for probably a few months) that i would have never otherwise even considered purchasing. circumstance demands i become an Airsoft Guy now (like 1/3rd of it pictured, rest in still boxes)

just bought a bottle of wine off a homeless man for $3. don't tell me there aren't reciprocal ways of supporting the poor
you guys are gonna get mad at me for saying this but i would gladly give 10% of my income to welfare if every recipient just had to sign a collective letter saying "good job getting that money. u earned it. thanks for the help 👍"

like yeah it's a little annoying that the class essentially subsidized by your labor universally resents you. i really don't mind helping https://t.co/oC3dZHZDNw
rich people have vastly more empathy for poor people than the other way around and no honest person who has paid any attention to the discourse around wealth and poverty can deny this
