@mmamas1973 Can you elaborate on why you as a cardiologist wouldn’t be able to fulfil a GP role? Are you not exaggerating here? You would surely know enough and be able to quickly fill in any gaps or refer to specialist?

@arjunrajlab It’s semi-quantitative. You can infer more or less, but you cannot put a specific number on it. Think of it like a western blot, you can see higher or lower signal but you cannot say exactly how much target protein was in your sample.

@wbuxtonofficial Schumacher went through the same bad periods with Ferrari and with Mercedes before helping lead them greatness. Seems Hamilton blames the team and car when things are not going well instead of defending them and leading them to success.

@wbuxtonofficial F1 needs a Hawkeye style system, if Tennis can do it a decade ago, no excuse for F1 the most technological sport in the world. Austria was 100% the right approach, just needs some automation and don’t spam the notifications.

@sirwillpearson @mmamas1973 I guess what your really highlighting is a GP needs to make a decision within a 15 minute appointment slot (which is a skill in itself). A cardiologist wouldn’t have time to look up anything they didn’t know, but likely could do so if they had lots more time (which they don’t).

@brrrake Sprint races need a variable that makes them unique to the main race. I’d suggest there should be a special sprint tyre and the sprint should be held at a different time of day. Anything to make it substantially different, otherwise may as well extend the main race.

@EngineMode11 By far the worst track on the calendar. Horrible on TV, the track is so featureless and flat it’s hard to even keep track of where the cars are. La Sarthe would be much better for French GP and an interesting comparison to Le Mans prototypes.

@MJGold Surely key difference is, Tennis players actually sell rackets, clothes and shoes to the mainstream. The general public do not buy T&F kit (lycra and running spikes), their impact on sales is much lower and that’s why there is less prize money and more semi-pros and amateurs.
