I have felt under pressure on the grid before but by people called Senna, Prost, Schumacher, Mansell, Piquet and so on. Bodyguards visiting the grid for the first time don’t bother me, everyone’s got a job to do, but they could maybe learn some manners and respect on our patch 🤔

Should have been an instant red flag with a stricken car in a critical position in those conditions. Clearly debris on track too. Should NEVER EVER be a tractor on track until the cars are all collected up behind a safety car or in the pits. Gasly can’t take all the blame here

It’s approaching 30 years since he was tragically lost to the world, and so I visited Ayrton’s grave to pay my respects. It’s Dia dos Mortos in Brazil today and the Cemitério do Morumbi park was serene and beautiful. He must surely be resting in peace here.

New Jeddah F1 track is going to significantly reward the brave and accurate. Multiple series of very high speed corners between walls where there’ll absolutely be no small accidents. 27 turns of which about 14 will be recognised by an F1 car, but there’s peril everywhere

Presumably and hopefully with no MGU-H units in the turbo system of the 2026 F1 engines they’ll generate more noise. Meanwhile from 2024 there will be no F1 tyre blankets or heaters of any kind 😳. That’ll change the dynamics of a pitstop.

Sir Frank was a remarkable man, fiercely determined and competitive, tirelessly overcoming any number of very significant challenges, a pure racer to the end. And proudly British. Along with Stirling and Murray we’ve lost too many titans of motorsport recently. Rest in Peace.

Don’t agree with this penalty. Racing incident on the first lap with everything going on in Brooklands corner as far a I’m concerned. Stewards have far more information, video and data to be fair, and the referee’s decision is final. But the ‘let them race’ mantra needs to stick

Whilst I admire the precision and confidence in driving one-handed whilst attempting DIY at the same time, and desperately staying away from ‘in my day’, but the legendary 130R corner becoming effectively a straight line saddens me.
