Having just seen a tweet from

Surely if you play for no fee then you could be described as amateur/voluntary and currently all performances by non- professionals are not permitted

RIP Archbishop Desmond Tutu. An inspirational human being since we first met you as a curate in Bletchingley in the 1960’s. Sending condolences to all your family.
@SirKenRobinson
This is such very sad news. From working with him in the 90s, I was honoured to be his ‘minder’ for the day at the State of Play festival/conference in 2006. He was such a sharp, intellectual, creative and compassionate man, with a brilliant sense of humour. RIP Ken.
Really pleased to welcome

Today I had the absolute privilege of observing

There are 6 days left to apply to participate in the

‘Find Your Way’ Residential Leadership Development Course at Snape Maltings, from 6-8 August 2021, hopefully in person!
The Government’s own research in 2020 showed it was safe for more than 6 people to sing together indoors, with mitigations in place. They have not published any new research to change that position, which is why we are all so confused/angry

I was so pleased that we were able to give voice to these young people right at the beginning of the conference - setting the tone, provoking and challenging the delegates and the Minister!
We are ‘deep diving’ into orchestra talent development programmes across the USA. A common theme is the need for organisational flexibility and a willingness to change in order to provide personalised learning for each student

Putting it out there now. Pupils in my school will continue to have a broad curriculum in September. RE Languages. Music. Arts. PE. Humanities Science and effective interventions to catch up English and Maths gaps. We are not going to narrow the opportunities for our pupils.
Beyond excited to say that I'll be performing at the Last Night of the Proms with

We’ve got some real musical game-changers on our stands this week: Beethoven’s epic Eroica symphony, Schumann’s first go at a symphony, and a piano concerto by the incredibly talented but overlooked Clara Schumann, interpreted by another trail-blazing young woman
