Marner has paced 100 points for 4 x seasons in a row, and has provided elite defense and PK abilities. He was nominated for the Selke.
In the playoffs his numbers are spectacular for the defensive impact he has.

PPR was just an excuse to make irrelevant players relevant. Now that the league has shifted to a more pass heavy environment PPR is overvalued.
The fact that RBs who catch are more valuable than the MOST TALENTED RB’s in the league is proof enough that the format is flawed.
