I’m pretty sure in that scenario, Hart could file a grievance with the union or sue the flyers/league. You can’t just suspend someone with a guaranteed contract because they might be accused of a crime. It’ll be very interesting to see what happens next with charges formally laid

The only “code” with empty netters is leaf fans being salty that they lost the game to a last place team and are deflecting that emotion into supporting cross checks to the head after the play instead of accepting a loss like a normal person would.

What was extra incredible is when the TSN cameras picked up the photo I got with Pierre Dorion at the end of the game, and then showed that clip all season long when the talking heads were discussing a move or anything to do with Pierre. My phone would blow up every time.

Watching Leaf fans convince themselves that a goalie who won 5 of 20 games and hasn't had a good season in 4 years for both good and bad teams is hysterical to me. He gets hurt anytime he puts together a decent stretch, lets in deflating weak goals all the time. Enjoy!

The other teams fired good coaches who have had success in the past. We fired a bad coach who prioritized being a friend and one of the guys instead of strategy and accountability. Martin is starting from much further back.
