People tend to forget how good NJ’s dcore is, even after they gave up John Marino for basically pennies. I do wonder about Mercer’s fit though… Glass could easily play 3C and moving Palat down may be better. Especially if they can package Nemec/Mercer for a young top 6 winger.
Up next in the 31in31 series is Sheldon Keefe's New Jersey Devils! The model *loves* Timo Meier. and also likes the guys they brought in this summer (Dadonov, Brown). The defence, when fully healthy, is elite, but the question remains: how good can Markstrom be?

Nashville is weird, because I like the Perbix add, I don’t mind Hague but I hate the contract, last year’s adds all look questionable, but Josi is still good, Forsberg is still elite and Saros can steal games. They’re a very weird team.
Up next in the 31in31 series is the Nashville Predators! Nashville had an absolutely dreadful year last year, but that was due to all five of their big names playing at below-average levels. That shouldn't happen again, but it'll still be difficult for them to make a playoff push

Brendan Gallagher being that good at his age/TOI is incredibly funny. As much as I like to shittalk the Habs, their dcore looks pretty damn solid with Hutson - Dobson - Guhle. Patrik Laine is… uh. Well, not worth 8M dollars to say the least.
Next up in the 31in31 series is the Montreal Canadiens (hello @goalcauf) who - graded out quite poorly defensively last year. Still, their defence is young, mobile and skilled, and their top line is very good. The hope is for Demidov to jump right in as a 60+ scorer.

Air Canada is a failure of an airline propped up by a government-incentivized monopoly in the skies between itself & WestJet. Because of this, small airlines always struggle in Canada, and yet these giants continue to underpay their workers and provide dogshit service. Enough.

Minnesota’s defence is very, very good, especially if Buium and Jiricek have great starts to the year. There’s a high chance that they default to Zach Bogosian though…. Yikes. Filip Gustvasson in net is also a very good thing.

Quite possibly my favorite card out of all the players and goalies I have. I try so hard to account for icetime/usage/player role and yet… here’s Jet Greaves. Very very interested to see how he does this year for CBJ.
FINALLY! Someone asked about the model breaker!!! Jet Greaves is… unbelievable. Who knows if he can hold these numbers, but he was lights out for Columbus in *meaningful games* down the stretch last year. Seeing @PlayoffRielly draft him in fantasy was great too🫣
