My friend @D_G_Alexander might not thank me for saying so (tho I don’t know from sure) but I do think @MhairiBlack is a big loss to Parliament. And she is absolutely spot on here. Like a summary of Chapter 5 of But What Can I Do? … the threat of fascism.

I really have been trying to be more generous recently but they make it so hard. I googled for 30 seconds and found out 1/25000 men are born with XX chromosomes. Will GCs argue that they are all women now? With penises? I cannot for the life of me keep up
I think at this point all the big name GCs know that this Olympic boxing lady is a cis woman. They don't care

She loved the use of a shape grounding an idea which extends to musical communication to a performer which extends to sound and to communication to an audience. If only every interaction around contemporary music ideas was so positive and engaged!

Just had a lovely heart-warming exchange when a woman in the cafe I am sketching in came over to commend my steadfastness in making this diagram and was then even more impressedc(and immediately got it) when I explained that it's music and what this image is actually doing. 😊

So excited to become Music Director at @coma_glasgow, a group I have been involved with as a player since early 2020. Substantial boots to fill after Rūta's incredible work building the group into the incredible group of creativity, discourse, and adventurousness it is today.
Here is me stepping down from @coma_glasgow Music Director position, and handing my baton to @simonhellewell! It has been incredible 4.5 years of setting up and running this community and I am grateful for every person who I met through this! @CoMA_NewMusic @newmusscotland

The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama told its staff today that it is axeing its junior department at the end of this term. Almost 200 children study there on saturdays. That will all stop in July. This is not rich kids playing expensive instruments. One of them texted...
