There have been many failings of Creative Scotland, but can we trust ScotGov or Westminster to ensure would support the arts without the arts Council or Creative Scotland?. No.

Anyone who believes getting rid of Creative Scotland is a positive step is simply shooting themselves in the foot. What is needed is funding and actual direction to help the arts, not pulling the rug from under our feet.

I've just heard the news about the passing of Alexander Goehr - I certainly didn't know him like his pupils, but following the release of the book about him recently, I had the fortune of having a lot of correspondence with him. .
