Do share this with any under forties who haven't bought a house or parents of young adults who want to help them out. There's £1,000s available done right.
New Pod (especially important for 18 to 39s or their parents). Free £1,000 a year towards a first house via a LISA | Cash ISA limit to be slashed? What it means. Plus lots more, do listen. - - .-

Please do spread this to anyone you think fits the bill :).
We're looking for new volunteer trustees for the brilliant @mmhpi charity. Specific senior roles for 1) someone with fundraising experience 2) policy experience of financial inclusion, debt or mental health. Full info about what the role entails here

Brilliant work by the team at @mmhpi you're over three times more likely to be in crisis debt if you have mental health problems. Far too many mental health workers spend their time helping clients deal with their finances. Far better to allow professionals to help, by.
We’ve long called for better integration of debt advice and mental health services, so we’re delighted that the government has listened and put this at the heart of its plans for Neighbourhood Health Services 🎉 1/2

We've now had clarification from @aberdeenInv_UK that it will honour the existing grant round thankfully. To confirm the charity will also continue, but with a new name and remit - its still a real shame to see it'll no longer fund the core research need.
Terrible news & judgement from @aberdeenInv_UK. Its suddenly closed down its independent Financial Fairness Trust (& canned staff/trustees) - a key funder of charity research into inequality. A poor decision, seemingly done with no regard to the impact on key charities. No wind.
