This is truly peak bleak news for the arts in Scotland. The future consequence is unfathomable and irrecoverable. Until @scotgov sit round a table to resolve their failings with @CreativeScots this crisis will prove fatal, if it hasn’t already.

Lovely Open Score Club session today with @coma_glasgow exploring a piece by James Saunders. Fascinating discussion of how a piece can be simultaneously improvisatory and fixed, invite interaction with other players while also hampering interaction, how that varies with material.

I had a blast leading this online project with an excellent, engaged, and inventive group of people, and editing much of the final miniatures together! Give it a listen when the website changes at quarter to 4.
Happy solstice! Our Cards from Cold Places project goes live at sunset, 15:44 UK time, at https://t.co/xoY5EpnJZ1, which will change from its current re-direct and will instead display our new works. Give it a listen!

In these greatly engaging workshops we have explored, re-interpreted, and re-contextualised the sights and sounds of the season and collected the results in a series of miniatures.
