This is Zucker’s argument but it doesn’t hold up. Transition is not a bad outcome, even if there’s complications many people still report marked improvements in quality of life. These kids do not ‘just grow up to be gay and happy’, they grow up distressed.

Again, that evidence comes from the 1980s. I’ve read that paper, I’ve read J.Michael Bailey’s book, it’s an outdated study that did not separate gender nonconforming kids from kids who identified as a different gender. It’s bad science.

It is risky, but bear in mind, there’s actually quite a bit of resources out there on many of these sites to do it effectively that are quite knowledgeable. Most of these drugs are actually from overseas pharmacies, so they’re not “Joe schmo’s oestrogen made in my toilet”.
