"Calling someone 'transphobic' has become a way of muzzling people; It affects freedom of speech, and therefore our democracy. This is already a legal reality in many countries, and the price people pay is huge: job loss, reputational damage, intimidation, violence, imprisonment"
Important contribution in progressive Belgian daily @demorgen (who've left X), by Athena team member Marianne Driessen and @SEeckelaerts of @wrnvlaanderenBE: on the threats, defamations and the silencing of women who raise questions about the trans dogma. https://t.co/UdRKJP6sYc

"What do you call a man who won’t take no for an answer?" 🤔
If a man is trying to get into a private space that is clarified to be for females only… who is in the wrong, the man who keeps going where he shouldn’t be or the woman that asked him to leave? The simple answer is males stay OUT of those female spaces. What do you call a man

Good to see some sensible agreement for once, though I suppose, in this particular case, Phillipson didn't really have anywhere else to go.
Jennifer Melle, a nurse with a faultless record, was racially abused by a convicted paedophile for correctly referring to his biological sex in a medical context. She remains suspended from the job she loves, 18 months on. The punishment of nurses by NHS Trusts and the Nursing

20 years. After adopting a trans identity for half her life, having sacrificed her breasts and her womb, Antoinette realised she was, and had always been, a woman.
❗️Children are at risk of this right now. We need YOU to shield them from harm now. We cannot let any child experience @EvanD3LaCruz heartbreaking story… 💔Antoinette went through hell. When she had a full hysterectomy, they perforated her bowel – leading to emergency surgery

"This lawsuit accomplished exactly what we intended: ensuring Alexa and Reese’s voices were heard and restoring what they were owed—the medals they earned and their First Amendment right to peacefully express their views. But this is only the beginning. Our remaining Oregon
Mission accomplished. ✅ The lawsuit is wrapped up — Alexa and Reese’s medals have been restored and their voices have been heard. So proud of these young women and the incredible legal team at @A1Policy that made it all happen!! Fantastic outcome! https://t.co/O2KKfxkquz

Far from being the vulnerable victim "Lucy" loves to paint himself out to be, his declaration of a cross-sex identity immediately hands him power over others. He is part of the sacred caste, that everyone must distort their understanding of reality for, who must be obeyed &
The law says men can cross dress at work. But has this person just created a weird workplace for everyone else? What did @jpmorgan boss Jamie Dimon really think of this employee's presentation? Is it too much to ask colleagues to play along with this? More pics ⬇️

Thank you, @RichardDawkins 👏
Professor @RichardDawkins has signed our call to cancel the NHS puberty-blocker trial. He joins hundreds of researchers & clinicians who warn that stopping healthy puberty in distressed young people cannot be justified. Read the statement & sign here:

.@UKLabour are really going to do it. They're going to use drugs which are known to cause lifelong harms to carry out a completely unethical, medically unnecessary, poorly designed, and ideologically driven experiment on the healthy bodies of confused human children.
“Does the Secretary of State believe an 8 year old child with autism can consent to a medical pathway that will leave them infertile and without sexual function for life?” @bphillipsonMP says “Yes” because CASS said so. How do these people sleep at night.

"'Again, it does not matter whether or not the trans person has begun any form of medical treatment for them to be entitled to do this. They are entitled to do this at the point at which they begin living full time in the gender they identify with'" It still makes my head spin
Surely the Union that represents female workers in supermarkets has A LOT to say about our legal rights to privacy, safety and dignity in single sex spaces? You'd surely expect vigorous demands that employers ensure that women's rights are respected? After all, many of their

A father discovers his daughter was put “at risk of sudden death” after GenderGP prescribed a dangerously high dose of testosterone. This should shock every regulator in the UK. Responsible healthcare demands caution, not reckless experimentation on distressed young people. 🎁

Brilliant thread on the oddities of Judge Kemp's ruling on the Peggie case, by @soniasodha
15 surprising things about the Peggie v NHS Fife ET judgment - a thread 🧵 1. Top of the pops has to be mis/partial quoting of the Supreme Court judgment in a way that badly misrepresents what it said. https://t.co/4lzfPgIBQg

And another 😱
@mar2vickers @WingsScotland @ForWomenScot @MForstater There’s a discrepancy in the quote from Goodwin v UK at 562 too - the first half of the original sentence is omitted which removes an important qualification. I thought it maybe a stylistic failure but Kemp prefaces partial quotes with ellipses elsewhere (e.g at 597 & 623)

Of course it is entirely up to Sandie, and we understand the incredibly heavy toll this deeply unfair process has inflicted on her. But if she does appeal, I will stretch my contribution to even more than I’ve paid into previous fundraisers, as this one will be absolutely crucial
@JournalismSEEN @peter_daly @DailyMail Sandie is a fighter for sure and it does seem like she may appeal. If she feels up to it, we need to remember she is doing this for all women not just herself, so we must have her back and support her in any way we can.

The old fashioned sexism being passed off as progressivism has possibly never been better represented than within the Peggie judgement.
The Peggie judgement is just so backslappingly laddish. Male judge agrees with male doctor that women are just a bunch of regressive stereotypes and that any "assigned female" who complains isn't doing womanhood right.

The collective foot dragging to implement the SC judgement is allowing wild misrepresentations to flourish in the vacuum. The UK government needs to step in now to prevent widespread institutional law-breaking. Is there even a precedent for such disregard of our Supreme Court?

Supreme Court? Pah! Who cares! Look at what this employment tribunal (which sets no precedent and only has power over those in front of it) says! That's much more important!
The @scotgov urgently needs to tell the funded EN that ETs do not make law. The ruling of the apex court was very clear and one dubious lower ET decision will not protect other employers. This is reckless. https://t.co/dgOE8ArlJL
