I live with Anxiety Disorder as a result of conversion therapy when I was a teen. The most common memory my brain uses to trigger it is my mom forcing me to get my hair cut the morning of my graduation because she knew I was planning to transition as soon as I left for college.
Luna’s hair consistently came up throughout my reporting and every time it brought tears to my eyes.

What this study concludes is that out of a small sample, a quarter of trans women who got blockers (at any age), cross sex hormones, and vaginoplasty reported they cannot achieve orgasm. That supports Ryan’s point about risks.

I was put through conversion therapy specifically for being Trans. I had psychiatrists and Rabbi’s try to convince me to be gay instead even though I never had any interest in Men. The idea that being Trans is more acceptable than being Gay is just as fantistical as Hogwarts is.
Many, myself included, believe we are watching a new kind of conversion therapy for young gay people, who are being set on a lifelong path of medicalisation that may result in the loss of their fertility and/or full sexual function. 5/11

It's amazing to me that the people claiming governmental access to Trans patients private medical records is justifiable are the same ones who just two years ago were whining about how having to show a vaccine card to eat at their local Chili's was somehow a HIPAA violation.

Here’s a true story: Trans Woman who started HRT at 16 (Over a decade ago). With regular yearly check-ups/bloodwork is now in better shape than most of her family with a history of heart issues. She’s even regularly running Marathons. Without HRT, she would have died before 18.

Are you kidding me? I know almost as many Trans/Trans couples as I do Trans/Cis. It's incredibly common for Trans ppl to date other Trans ppl. I've probably dated just as many Trans ppl as I have Cis ppl myself. Please educate yourself rather than continually making stuff up. 🙄
A core issue that will always be a challenge for transgender social integration is the reality that most trans people do not date other trans people.
A transgender person requires a gay person to engage in heterosexual behavior and a straight person, homosexual behavior.
