Agree 100% and that needed to change but not to this. Back then one wage could support a house and not necessarily a rented house. Many managed to buy their home and live reasonably on one wage. That's where it all went wrong.

They had it destroyed by 83. Greedy Developers were allowed to establish themselves in late 60's and control land & property values. Should read the Kenny Report from around 1969. It's an eye-opener.
