While alarmists quibble over a few millimeters, the oceans rose nearly 130 meters since the last glaciation.
Global average sea level has risen 21–24 cm since 1880! 📈 In 2023, global average sea level set a new record high—10.1 cm above 1993 levels! High-tide flooding is now 300% to more than 900% more frequent than it was 50 years ago 🌊🌊🌊 https://t.co/DKGi02C7p7

The dilemma nicely described in this book [i don't like the subtitle]: Renewable energies decline in LCOE, but system costs don't decline. Result: cost decline is real, but subsidy levels don't decrease, also becomes difficult to finance projects because of negative prices
You can't have it both ways. Either the cost of renewables is coming down, in which case it makes sense to wait, or it isn't which means we shouldn't spend any more money. No more spending on expensive chocolate teapots.

Interesting observation 1. Carbon price and gas supply crisis caused by Russia impacted European prices 2. France is below Germany thank to nuclear 3. China keeps subsidizing and relying on coal. Estimated costs of electrification and renewable support aren't known
If you want to know why the UK and the rest of Europe are deindustrialising, you need look no further than this chart from the IEA. Industrial electricity prices 2-3 times more expensive than China. Figures in $/MWh.
