Repeatedly building GW-scale reactors (the way we made nuclear cheap the first time) is a much better path than SMRs. Economies of scale are real, and you need both reactor size and production volume to get there.

61% of Hoosiers oppose redistricting-including nearly 30% of Republicans. In contrast, Micah Beckwith has an 8% approval rating across the state, and only a 16% approval rating amongst Republicans. More Republicans oppose redistricting than approve of Micah Beckwith

September 2025 was the third warmest on record in the Berkeley Earth dataset. But this downplays how anomalous it was; without 2023 and 2024 this year would have been well above any prior records and well above the long-term trend:

China’s NEV share hit 57.2% in Sept — a new record. Fossil car sales keep collapsing as EVs surge past half the market. Betting on oil at this juncture is like doubling down on horses in 1910. The curve’s turned. Follow electrons, not barrels. #EV #Lithium #LFP tx @electricfelix

Diego and Rokita made this absurd claim that we had 600,000 illegal immigrants voting in Indiana elections. Anyone with a modicum of intelligence would know that 20% of our voters were not illegal immigrants.

#Spain's blackout. New report from expert panel of European grid operators finds voltage surge caused the massive outage. "Contradicts the numerous claims that overreliance on #renewables was the cause. That is clearly not true." https://t.co/JYGGdMfptp

When millions lost power in Spain and Portugal this spring, some were quick to blame too much solar and wind power. That wasn't the cause, but the misinformation had an impact.

This is easily fixed. Make sure you have enough energy storage and/or use grid forming inverters. That is, it's a matter of poor planning and design rather than what type of generation you use. When I see somebody like Bjorn making comments about renewable energy generation,
