Notice how some weather media only focus on "cities" when talking about heat, and rarely mention the UHI (Urban Heat Island) effect -- which increases temperatures with increasing city infrastructure .
8-20-25: NEVADA, ARIZONA & CALIFORNIA Extreme heat warnings include Las Vegas & Los Angeles - I know, it’s August. These are climatologically warm places but this warmth is well above average to even breaking daily records.

Notice how those who say "our emissions have amplified the warming" never tell you how much man-made CO2 warmed the earth in 2024 or any other year.
Those people are correct. The earth goes in cycles and we are naturally warming at this time. but science shows us that our emissions have amplified the warming making it faster than nature would have. Adaptation is tougher for coral for example that can't move to cooler water.

And Trump was right about Dorian's forecast tracks, while the media knew about those forecast tracks but lied to the public anyway.
6 years ago today, Hurricane Dorian stalled out over the islands of Great Abaco and Grand Bahama for nearly 24 consecutive hours with sustained winds of Category 5 strength. Few Atlantic satellite loops are as spine-chilling as this.

So many wish for a La Nina, but so many models say it ain't so. Reasoning is discussed in @JVinos_Climate books.
This doesnt get enough attention. But the only thing stopping this from popping off in October is wind shear. And I dont see that happening. La Nina is coming. These same dipping fall fronts would yank them North.

Climate alarmists continue to swoon over false idols disguised as failing climate models, but are afraid to talk about actual data - such as the growing North Atlantic cold blob.
