Who is this guy to tell us we “have” to trust parents? Why? I would love to be able to trust all parents, but that’s irrational and unrealistic. A small minority are abusive and unfit. Period. It is far more reasonable to ensure we protect children and uphold their rights.
Respecting parental rights is paramount and I am glad Pierre Poilievre agrees - we have to trust parents to make the right decisions for their kids.
