I'm sad to learn of the death of Alan Morison, one of the bravest journalists I've had the privilege of working with, as he exposed and stared down the Thai military over its genocidal actions against Rohingya refugees. Alan, you were one of the best.

The moment arrived. A wild Tasmanian wombat again within grasp. But in the end she chose respect, and after 15 years was at peace. I could not have been prouder.
So, my wife and I were conducting a Jan 1 review of our 20-yr relationship & I asked if there was anything abt me that made her angry, & she said yes actually, she was still mad at me for preventing her from patting a wild wombat we encountered on a hike in Tasmania 12 years ago
