I used tracing paper today to encourage students to look at a poem through two different perspectives. We chose the exact same quotations each time but saw them through different lenses. It worked a treat!

A little retrieval that really helped Y10 to track Lady Macbeth today. Students were expected to detail: what the moment was, a quotation, the purpose and where we can see this moment or something similar elsewhere. The PDF includes her other appearances in the play too.

📞🕵️‍♂️An Inspector Calls: Gender Inequality/Eva & injustice 📞🕵️‍♂️ My Year 11s sat a mock on Friday for the two focuses above. What I noticed was a huge amount of them recognised there was an inequality or that there was an injustice but not being very specific with what it was (1)
