This is how I am going to enter every first lesson in September.

I had to remove my last post on weight loss, because it seemed to have been found by trolls who were all American. I’ve remembered why I wasn’t using Twitter as much. It’s sad what it has become.

This was superb. Such a clever idea to look at his life through the stories of the fans. What struck me is how music can shape all of us, how music reminds us of points in our lives or gets us through difficult times, or that someone else’s words help us understand our own minds.

This evening I am off to do some proper Stanning. I’ve managed to hold off dressing like an obsessive.

Not been on here much recently, but I now weigh less than I have in about 10 years or so. I now feel I am regaining a bit of confidence in myself, something that was needed. A way to go before I am in the ‘healthy’ range but I’m pleased.

Just had my last tutoring session with a group of boys I have been working with for most of the year. As they were leaving, one of them said, ‘it’s been a good year’ and I choked back a sob.

Between my two 30+ classes of year 11, all my one to one tutees and my 3 groups a week online tutees, I feel like I have taught half the country this GCSE…and I am thinking of every one of them.
