Is wind turbine waste a real concern? Yes, by one estimate, in 2050 the world will generate ~3 million tonnes of wind turbine waste per year. But for perspective, the world currently landfills ~500 million tonnes of coal combustion residues (coal ash) every year.
As the Labour government roll out huge numbers of wind turbines, it’s conveniently forgotten that wind turbine blades only last for around 20-30 years. Wind turbine blades are expected to create 40 million+ tonnes of waste by 2050. Not exactly environmentally sustainable.

It sounds like I'm being a partisan hack when I say things like "ICE is filled with the stupidest people you can imagine, morons so breathtakingly dumb they flunked out of being regular cops", but it's just objectively true
ICE set off an international incident in Minneapolis today because agents tried to go into the Consulate of Ecuador without permission, and then yelled at their staff for trying to keep them out. Note that there is a huge “consulate of Ecuador” sign over the door.

The order is incredible. You have to read it. It’s not even three full pages and you feel the judicial fury. He says court orders are repeatedly being ignored and people who have done nothing wrong are remaining in detention despite judicial orders requiring them to be released.

Iowa is not a presidential swing state anymore, we don’t need to be doing this to ourselves. A bipartisan coalition could take on biofuels, make food cheaper and we’d have a better environmental outcome.
On the amount of land the world today uses to produce biofuels — an inefficient and ineffective source of “green” energy, sufficient to power just 4 percent of global transportation — enough solar power could be installed to generate all (100%) the world’s electricity needs.
