SURGERY UPDATE: guess who has a bunch of new and exciting hardware in their neck, a gnarly scar guaranteed to traumatize pretty much everyone who sees it, and was just cleared to drive a car for the first time in two weeks?
So, I had my cervical spine surgery this morning. They are keeping me overnight for observation, but other than dealing with a couple of additional bone spurs that didn’t show up on the pre-op imaging, I’m told the procedure went smoothly.
