(For those wondering, the top of the ticket won big in SD-30. KH & TK recorded the best showings any Democrat facing a Republican challenger has had out of Heritage Hunt, which was a Republican stronghold before 2022. That’s why we look less at POTUS/SEN and more at U.S. House.)
For people looking at 2024 data in 2025 VA House of Delegates seats: it’s standard practice to look at House of Representatives data more closely than POTUS or Senate as the results are closer to home and the candidates wage their campaigns in a similar way to state legislators.

In Virginia, we have federal elections in even years and state elections in odd years. House campaigns at the state and federal levels have similar — though not identical — dynamics in that there is more emphasis on retail campaigning, local issues and personal connection.

Critically for our 51-49 Democratic majority in the Virginia House of Delegates, he also carried the CD-10/HD-21 overlap by 1,048 votes. He carried 11 out of 17 of those precincts. Both tallies exclude provisional ballots as those results have not been released yet.

All mail-in and early in-person vote totals in Prince William County, Manassas and Manassas Park have now been reallocated by precincts. Rep.-elect @SuhasforVA won the CD-10/SD-30 overlap by 5,293 votes, winning 31 out of 39 of those precincts.
