For 400 years, generations of Pembrokians have passed in and out of our doors, each with their own stories but all connected by this College. As 2024 begins, it’s officially time to celebrate 4 centuries of Pembroke people. Happy 400th birthday, Pembroke College! #pembroke400

The people who study Long Covid wear masks in public indoor spaces, use ventilation, etc, not because they think they're going to die in the acute phase of the infection, but because they know about LONG COVID.

There's a big reality gap right now between people who are actively staying on top of COVID research & those who just trust the current guidelines. There's no judgment here, but I'd like to try to communicate the worldview of the former based on what we know about COVID now: 1/

Check out Vox’s podcast ‘Unexplainable’ where I chat with @byrdala on everything we know (and don’t know) about the connections between our #gut #microbiome & #brain. How close are we to understanding ‘that gut feeling’?🧐 @voxdotcom @voxmediapods @nytimes https://t.co/qXDkECMaoO

4th December is St. Barbara’s Day. On this day there was an old tradition amongst country folk to cut a “Barbara branch” from a cherry tree. The branch was kept in a pot of water by the stove, and if it blossomed by #Christmas all their wishes would be fulfilled. #FolkloreSunday
