We did an idc bean on some kochia only ground at 300,000 pop. Was scheduled for 200,000 pop but Didnt want to carry that bean to next field. Did 35 bushels on the worst alkali ground in Walsh cty. Tiled tho so improving but I thought it worked.

2) cleaned the rat shit out and got 3500 bushels of wheat. Wheat was still 10+ so was 1/6 of cost of land. If I would have known the wheat was there in February when wheat was 20 it would have paid 1/3 cost of land

1)True story. Was tearing down a farmstead on some land I bought in spring of 2008. Couple 2500 bushel bins on site. Land had traded hands several times and nobody realized those bins had 20 year old wheat in them.

I brought many Park River kids down to the field after games. After the pics with Jackson they always wanted to go to the QB. First Easton then Trey. What a couple of classy and gracious guys. Always 🤘

Like every govt program the rhetoric will not match the results. rhetoric is to protect the family farm but the result will hasten the demise of the fam farm. Off farm heirs will sell to pay taxes vs re-mortgage. When a family farm loses family land …you know what happens next

I remember him coaching little league. I remember riding a bus to hyslop for senior day. I remember him being my eye doctor when I lived in Fargo. I remember him being very complimentary of his favorite bison player after the 2021 game
