UP needs to build industry beyond the NCR region. They should shift 50% focus towards Lucknow-Kanpur cluster. 50km radius from the twin cities needs to become the core economic hub for them. If not they wont be able to push the needle at all.

Not enough, TN is the only state with decent exports. All other states need to up their game. UP/Haryana/MP need to get into this game and expand to $12Bn each by 2030. TN need to move up the value chain and start building the machines and automation process.

India Inc has focused only on license manufacturing without building academia, Industrial R&D. This needs to be altered where Industry directly works with academia at all levels, starting from the IISc/IITs to the ITIs to expand the score by 10x for every decade.
Indian Industry stalwarts need to step up with such apprenticeship programs for skill development across the board. Depending on Govt run ITIs has not worked so far.
