@AHousefather Someone I know posted pictures for days of what he called the "Ottawa Carnival" on Wellington Street, showing the honking trucks, tents in which to warm up or get "free food", adding "it's all love here, only love", not one bit of shame for the impact on local residents.

They borrow Ottawa a few wekks a year. Ottawa is a real people town. This convoy crowd doesn't care about them, just disruption and chaos.

@OliRochon Montréal, j'y suis régulièrement, on me sert en français, Vieux Montréal, rue St-Denis, Quartier des Spectacles, Ville-Marie, le Plateau. Au parc dans le quartier St-Michel, tous les enfants parlent français. C'est plus anglais sur Côtes-des-neiges, tout comme il y a 30 ans.
