I left my boring career to raise my son and I’ve never been happier. My only regret is not starting earlier. I was stuck in a very blue city and encouraged to climb the ladder. A lot of the loud mouthed feminist women I used to work with are single, approaching 40 and miserable.

As much as I ranted to my mother about not doing it, she did. 2 weeks after her booster she died of sudden cardiac arrest. My family called me crazy for thinking it was the booster even though she had no documented heart problems. They don’t talk to me anymore. 🤷🏻♀️

My bill for a perfect birth with no issues in 2020 was $7k with a BCBS PPO that we pay $800 a month for. It’s nuts. We paid it over a year but it really cut into our budget. Just thinking of all the women on Medicaid who don’t pay a dime for the entire pregnancy, ticks me off.
