All solidarity to @AngelaRayner . Ridiculous to even think about printing that nonsense. Since women were elected to the Commons 100 years ago we have been undermined, belittled, and objectified. I think it is supposed to put us off. Of course it has the opposite effect.

So when a Tory Prime Minister calls a general election in the middle of Brexit negotiations, that's in the national interest, but when the Labour party thinks that we need one, that's party politicking. Glad we've cleared that up.

Ten years ago tonight. Polls closed and I had headed home *certain* to lose. Thank you everyone in Wirral South. You have taught me so much. But most of all, never give up.

I think what we have discovered in response to @bbclaurak and @BethRigby is that @BorisJohnson is not so keen to take responsibility for his decisions. Who knew.

Liverpool fans were heroes, actually. So many people acted to take care of each other in a very stressful situation. Now we need a full apology from the French authorities, and a proper inquiry. Policing by consent matters. Not just for football fans but for everyone, everywhere.

Liverpool fans were not to blame for what happened at the Champions League final. It is irrefutable now, in the form of the French senate findings. The authorities and politicians are rightly slammed for their failures and lies. Please read and share.
