Ditto any leaders, I think. Don't pretend to be a superhero - your story is more admirable if you tell it with the downs as well as ups, failures as well as successes.
When religious leaders share times they were in a dark place, felt depressed, or lost faith, that is transformative: it tells the listener that if someone they admire went through that and made it out, then that darkness is no reason to feel bad about themself or to lose hope.

It's October, the month with perhaps the most evocative name in the Anglo-Saxon calendar: in Old English it was called 'Winterfylleð', because (Bede says) the full moon of this month marked the beginning of winter.
