Fascinating: Beethoven played Mozart's D minor concerto in Vienna at a concert organised by Constanze, shortly after Mozart's death. How was it? Or Brahms playing the Schumann concerto; Taneyev the Brahms D minor; Rachmaninov an all-Scriabin recital; etc, etc. They all happened!

These are the only electric outlets in my hotel room. How likely am I to go to the loo in middle of night and forget my phone is on charge (because of the mirror frame the adapter & charger don’t fit in the top socket, which may have been marginally safer)?

Next, a bank of lockers outside the supermarket where you can pick up your groceries 24 hours a day (click & collect even when the shop is closed), but there was one bank of lockers which were suitable for deep frozen food -ideal for midnight ice cream cravings.

Supermarket here (Finistère) has two fabulous add-ons 🧵 Firstly, a doggy shower. You put your laundry on in one room and pop next door to soap your canine friend. Seems ideal (& there was a vending machine to give added value: shampoo, brushes, bows)
