Loads of them did it. It’s nuts. I have a house in Spain, every neighbour was Brit, loads of them voted for brexit. I think they didn’t class themselves as the immigrants that they are. They truly thought it didn’t apply to them.
A lot had to move back to uk.

I volunteer at a vaccine centre and I was verbally abused by a rampant anti vaxxer. There’s no point in arguing back. They have shut down to reason.
Never wrestle with pigs, you both get dirty, and the pig enjoys it.

Cabbies in London are amazing. They didn’t charge us a few times when my son was in treatment for cancer.
Plus they took him & his younger brother & dad to Disneyland Paris for the weekend. With The magical taxi tour. Forever grateful. (Son is fit & well now). ❤️🩹

Swimming with a bag is not only possible but actively encouraged. 👙👜
Great exercise if you have hernias too. Far less impact and strain.
So far this year I have bikinied in 10 countries.

Some days I think I’m a bit feeble. I had a bad headache after I drove the 50 minutes home from visiting my parents the other day.
And then some days I feel invincible. flew on my own to Spain, drove our car by myself to Spain house and sun creamed my own back.

When my son was 13, in hospital being treated for cancer (his was misdiagnosed as vertigo caused by growing for a while). There was a young girl on the ward whose parents were told she had anorexia…she actually had leukaemia.

My mum didn’t vaccinate me for whooping cough, there was a concern over it. Guess what? I caught whooping cough. I was vaccinated for everything after that. Still am. I love my yearly flu jab. Why? Because I had flu once - NEVER again thanks. 🤒😷🤧🤢🥴🤍

Apparently tho Brits moving abroad aren’t immigrants they are ex pats…so now that’s how I refer to anyone coming here

WTF He’s attacking the NHS? Is that a vote winner? I am very lucky to have private health cover too, But the NHS is an incredible machine. It saved my son’s life when he had cancer. LF probably doesn’t know this but there is NO private paediatric oncology in this country. NHS💙

I volunteer at a food BANK. Ysday I cried my eyes out there. It’s scary how rapidly someone can go from doing fine to needing it. Food banks are not there for the politicians who caused the need to pop by for a jolly.
It’s a safety net to catch those who would fall without it.

If I hear one more person say “oh but did they have underlying health issues?” I will scream, and then silently cry yet again. Underlying health issues doesn’t mean someone is at deaths door, they could have 60 odd years left in them without covid. Those numbers are scary

It’s all nonsensical. My friend could send her daughter to school (she won’t, but she could legally), even though 3 out of 4 of them are covid positive.
I didn’t use to send my kids if one of them had a stomach bug for fear it would spread like wildfire.
No wonder it’s so rife

She was outrageous, all my friends hated her. She was difficult (understatement 🫣) - but to me she was everything.

I don’t/ can’t let thoughts of the greedy or the incompetent enter my head.

At 36 had an oophorectomy as part of colon cancer treatment. It Took 12 years to get on the right HRT, including Testosterone. As if that would happen to a man.

I like winters as an adult as I have central heating in my house.

Today is world cancer day. I am a cancer survivor. My son is a cancer survivor. My dad is a cancer survivor.
Cancer can affect you at any age 13, 36, 72.
Be vigilant. Be assertive when asking for further tests.

Met him at 20, married him at 22, had first baby at 23, had second baby at 25...became a grandma at 45. Just celebrated our 25 wedding anniversary.
And they said it wouldn’t last...(people did actually say that about us and to us!). Kept each other, got rid of them. 🤩🤣🥰🙏🏼

Mine was breaking it to my 13 year old son he had stage 3 cancer,then 6 months later having to tell everyone that I had just been diagnosed with a different type of stage 3 cancer. Twice we had to break people’s hearts in 6 months.
But I guess sister in laws r 👹

I feel fantastic. (I have fatigue etc, but none of that defines me).
I don’t see my stoma as a negative. I’m a 47 year old, bowel cancer survivor, grandma with a colostomy. I feel good on the inside, whether anyone else agrees I look it on the outside or not

I started testosterone last year. I lost ovaries due to st 3 bowel cancer treatment age 36.
In the last year I have felt human again, not just increased sex drive, but every aspect of my life is better. It’s not for everyone. But it’s right for some. It’s right for me 🤍

Happened to me. Symptoms since 18. Same symptoms finally diagnosed correctly at 36. Was told it was IBS & piles. It was stage 3 colorectal cancer by the time diagnosed. Chemo, radio & AP resection. I was very very lucky. Still here 10 years on. It must stop

friend had some unfortunate side effects of the vaccine. Does she still believe in this vaccine, do I ? YES & YES! There was scare mongering when I was a child about whooping cough vaccine. My mum didn’t give it to me - I caught whooping cough. Not fun at all. Give me all the 💉

I’ve had a stoma since I was 36. I had stage 3 colorectal cancer. I was distraught to learn I needed one. I wish I knew then what I know now.
I prefer my stoma to the traditional plumbing, honestly do. My stoma has given me an amazing life.

Having had cancer at 36 I wanted to have MRIs every year to keep an eye on myself because I lost trust in my body, and everyone after years of misdiagnosis.
It was pointed out that unnecessary MRI will probably land me where I was trying to avoid.

I volunteer at a foodbank. I feel good that we are able to help people who would be hungry without it - I feel demoralised that I live in a country that needs it.
Popping to them for a photo op, like they’re opening a new library or dare I say a new hospital, is sickening.
