Pssh, threaded programming isn't hard. You just: 1. Find the king thread. 2. Kill them 3. All the childer threads become programs again.

“I almost think one doesn’t have to be a physician to conclude that a person can’t get skull fractures on both the right and left sides of their head and from front to back by running themselves into a wall." - Medical Examiner Dr. Lindsey C. Thomas
An ICE claim that a man shattered his skull running into a wall triggers tension at a Minnesota hospital.

This should be a huge national story. A conservative judge released a list of 96 times—which he said is an undercount—that ICE violated court orders in January alone. The government is illegally imprisoning people without due process. You can’t reconcile that with law & order.
The extraordinary document offers a glimpse of a national campaign by the federal government to deprive detained immigrants of due process rights. https://t.co/uS7QPm41Em

A new study from Anthropic finds that gains in coding efficiency when relying on AI assistance did did not meet statistical significance; AI use noticeably degraded programmers’ understanding of what they were doing. Incredible.
AI can make work faster, but a fear is that relying on it may make it harder to learn new skills on the job. We ran an experiment with software engineers to learn more. Coding with AI led to a decrease in mastery—but this depended on how people used it. https://t.co/lbxgP11I4I

All the pedo conspiracy people picked the guy who turned out to be involved in the ultimate pedo conspiracy and now they just don't even care. Never forget that you're dealing with people who have no principles. Everything they say is fake & purely strategic.

I served for 22-years in the Army. I did four combat tours across Desert Storm and Iraq. Hearing this brutish fool refer to the streets of the United States being “in theater” like it’s a combat deployment and not protecting and serving the public is disgusting. This is a war
Q: Can you be specific about how many ICE and Border Patrol agents are currently operating in the state? HOMAN: 3,000. There's been some rotations. They've been in theater a long time. Day after day, can't eat in restaurants, people spin on you, blowing whistles at you. But my

Alex Pretti doesn't have "stock," he isn't alive. CBP agents shot him in the back 10 times and killed him after disarming and pepper spraying him because he tried to protect a woman they were assaulting.
President Trump calls Alex Pretti, the man killed by federal agents less than a week ago, an “agitator” and says his “stock has gone way down.”

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: The sheer number of politically diverse and otherwise unrelated figures who abruptly reversed course in 2024 to rally around Trump suggests something more than coincidence. Everyone should consider the possibility that many of them

He did admit it though. * To multiple Republicans. * On a record phone call to Georgia * In writing to other Republicans. * When his own lawyers pled guilty to fraud and said there was no evidence. He ALREADY admitted this. Don’t let him rewrite history.
Donald Trump lost the 2020 presidential election. He will never admit it. His cabinet will never admit it. MAGA will never admit it. But the American people know it.

The Minnesota prison system even had to put out a press release calling out DHS for lying about this as justification for the massive federal presence in Minneapolis!
I cannot stress this enough. Homan claimed that ICE was prevented from taking criminals from prison. He didn't name a single case or jurisdiction because it isn't true. Homan needs an off ramp and is getting one by suggesting that MN law enforcement was protecting criminals.

Removing a document after it's release is yet another example of them breaking the Act. They can update redactions for victims or CSAM issues by pushing a new version of the file. This file didn't show any victim names. There was NO legal grounds to remove it.

In any normal era, it would be a national scandal for a U.S. Senator to threaten a government shutdown because he’s mad that his insanely corrupt ploy to secure a multi-million dollar personal kickback was blocked – exactly what Lindsey Graham is doing right now.

It bears noting also that, while ICE has become a proto-fascist paramilitary group as its “surveillance spending” has skyrocketed over the last decade, it has also become far less effective at actually deporting illegal immigrants. Obama deported more illegal immigrants than
ICE isn’t just brutal. It’s also big business. From 2008 to 2021 ICE spent *$1.2 billion* on geolocation tracking, $561M on data analysis, $252M on government databases, and $97M on data brokers. Most of that went to companies who will lobby for this system to stay in place.

Let's speak plainly. In legitimate criminal cases, political appointees don't have to first hollow out U.S. Attorney offices of objecting career prosecutors with integrity; federal judges don't kill the cases at the cradle, and the government doesn't fight tooth and nail to

In Trump’s America, if you record a protest, post a meme, or publish an article the regime doesn’t like, you can be woken up in the middle of the night—your kids asleep in their beds—and find this at your front door. If you’re not treating this like a five-alarm fire right now,

The problem w/ people canonizing Pretti, or making him out to be some incredible person is that it becomes unacceptable to shoot him because he's a great guy. No, it was wrong to shoot him because he was disarmed. I don't care if he was an awesome dude or not. It doesn't matter.
The guy didn't deserve to be shot if he had been disarmed -- I think an investigation will reveal it was a tragic accident -- but canonizing him is absurd. He was a nutter.

It’s so strange how the democrats were able to steal the 2020 election when they were out of power but couldn’t steal the 2024 election when they were in power.

A staple of authoritarian states: using their executive power to arbitrarily revoke privileges & selectively punish political opponents, in this case for peaceful and lawful behaviour. The courts are failing under this broad assault on the rule of law. https://t.co/NZV61Rqa9I

Here's how it would alter the analysis: 1. It's evidence they had a motive to murder him. 2. It's evidence that they knew he wasn't a deadly threat because even when they assaulted him previously and broke his rib he didn't go for his gun, despite having it on him.
The video of Alex Pretti kicking the ICE vehicle tail light into pieces certainly WOULD alter the analysis IF THE TAIL LIGHT EVENT WERE KNOWN TO THE OFFICERS AT THE SCENE OF THE SHOOTING--IT WOULD MAKE THE LEGAL JUSTIFICATION ALL THE STRONGER.
