In 2024, only 33% of Republicans agreed the president should have the right to hire only officials who agree with their policies. Now it’s 64%. Democrats stayed consistent So much Republican politics is justifying whatever Trump happens to be doing today.

This is more than just four quarters. It’s every tailgate, every chant, every moment. It’s fuel that goes beyond the field. This is CELSIUS! LIVE. FIT. GO.

He was convicted of creating a phony charity for the disabled and using the funds for his own personal slush fund. That’s what they’re celebrating.
Fox host: Congratulations on getting out. George Santos: “Thank you to President Trump for clemency and for having such an amazing will for second chances. I feel like it's justice served." https://t.co/WyN9c4As3a

This is so willfully obtuse. People want Trump to stop abusing his power and acting corruptly. Americans have never seen corruption and executive overreach at this scale and many think it’s bad. Conservatives with an ounce of integrity wouldn’t act blind to this fact.
the problem with these protests from an action standpoint is that they don't have an "ask" beyond "we would like a democrat to be president instead" they are not marching for any legislation (see civil rights protests) or the end of a war (see vietnam, iraq, etc)

Truly incredible: Providence has never seen a protest like this, from start to finish wrapping the entire downtown.

Incredible: today’s No Kings protest appears to be the largest in Providence, Rhode Island history — 20,000+ showed up to say loud and clear that we will not bow to Trump’s authoritarianism.

Really seems like it should be a bigger news story that Republicans are straight up refusing to seat a duly elected member of Congress solely because she’s the last vote needed to compel the release of the Epstein files.

A little bit about me, my values don’t change based on who I’m talking to. I’m a proud pro-LGBTQ+ rights Governor who vetoed anti-trans legislation in an election year and still beat Trump’s hand-picked candidate.

Absolutely insane that it’s 2025 and the Republican Party believes that it’s not discriminatory to fire someone for being gay.

A bit surprised that the refusal to seat Adelita Grijalva hasn't generated more heat. Even putting aside the Epstein stuff, her constituents elected her/deserve a seated member.

What's weird about this is, a year ago all the media talked about was how awful inflation was. Here we are, a year later, and it is worse. Yet I'd bet it gets only a tiny fraction of the press attention it got last year.
A Harris/Axios poll finds a near majority of Americans say groceries are harder to afford today than a year ago

There’s something remarkable about watching the Pope be a normie Democrat.
