Info on Nex’s father’s initial arrest and bail release below. Apparently WaPo reported in late February that the father was convicted of abuse but perhaps did not make the connection. Their reporter has been staying on the case with this story.

Nex’s father pled out for rape of a minor under <14. Hughes got a 5 year plea deal & his kid did not have to testify. He was arrested on a parole violation earlier this year and is in an Arkansas prison. Wow, surprising that the Washington Post eluded to it in February. Yet also
