When you hurt people by shutting down the govt, you owe it to thoss people to make that pain mean something. You harden your heart and play to win or you do not play at all Playing and giving up halfway through hurts people for nothing. It's a betrayal https://t.co/B0pQvSxzun

And I'm not saying we're cruising for a Disney movie ending, far from it, but I do like that Trump has reached that level of desperation

You know that one part of the Disney movie where everything starts going wrong for the villian and they start screaming uncontrollably at the henchmen and the protagonists and basically everyone because it's all crumbling around them? It's very that

Elon Musk can't get humans to love him so he made a robot to love him instead and now all the humans are making fun of the robot. He is the smartest man in the world, a once-in-a-generation genius and clear member of the natural aristocracy

I had a wonderful time speaking with @awkword about our current political moment, what we can do as individuals, and what we should watch out for as Trump loses his iron grip on the Republican party Check it out if you would like to! https://t.co/juwN8pwILA

I live in a welcoming neighborhood, but you wouldn't be welcome here either

Is the town unwelcoming generally, or are you, specifically, unwelcome Higby cannot understand this question, never mind answer it, because he missed the development stage where one realizes that other people exist as distinct, autonomous entities (typically at 4-5 years old)
I can confirm Dearborn feels like a foreign country. It’s unsettling, and there’s nothing welcoming about it.

This is more about cultural awareness than hygiene, but it's also not not about hygiene depending on who you're dealing with

Or maybe it's the right hand and the prince is reaching cross-body, hard to tell from this shot, but I choose to believe it's the left

Great that Trump doesn't care where that hand's been because that appear to be the Crown Prince's left hand he's grabbing and that, in Arabic culture, is certainly a choice

I did just run into the man from the elevator on one of the floors I was sent to and he gave me a huge smile and shouted "shout-out to my four Black sisters!" and I was like "hell yeah man"

I am now playing a very fun game called "go to the floor I was told to go to, ask for the service I need, and get sent to a different floor." This game can go on for a very long time

The gentleman then informed me that they injected him with something on Floor 2 to make him impotent but too late and joke's on them: he's already fucked [indecipherable] Good for him, you know?

God I love the VA. I sit down in the waiting room and the man next to me immediately turns to me and says "you ever shoot a raccoon?" So we talked for awhile. I had my appt, then rode the elevator with an elderly Black man who kept shouting "segregation now and forever"

"I don't understand why she'd derail her entire life for some diseased amoral disgusting monster who's old enough to be her grandfather" I love that for you, was it decades of therapy or are you just healthy like that

This Olivia Nuzzi thing sure is something, I don't plan to read her book and I'm sick of hearing about it but also I cannot fully hate someone who let what I assume are several truckloads of daddy issues derail what looked, from the outside, like a perfect life
