Ask the Democrats how "vote for us, we're not as bad as THEM" went. Give people a reason to support your policies that isn't "the others are worse". How do people not get this?
Doctors are never going to find a more accommodating space for negotiations than under this government, but change cannot happen all at once. A reminder that the conservatives would ban strikes. I've always supported doctors and nurses but this feels wrong footed and unpopular

I think the public would be appalled if I went ahead with the offer while theyâre left suffering Christmas strikes. I donât want this transactional relationship with the BMA, I want a partnership. I hope we can build that in 2026 if RDs vote for the offer and end the strikes.
