In 2011 Mumbai had 4385 all-public buses. Today, there 2703 buses, almost all privately operated. BEST can buy its own buses, but it doesn't. Electrification is nothing but a cover for privatization and downsizing BEST. @somitsenTOI @AamchiBest @VarshaEGaikwad

At around 4 pm I along with the Adivasi members reached Aarey Forest area where illegal dumping and destruction of the topography is going on. We citizens have been waiting for 2 hrs for the panchana and in the meantime after 2 hours another dumper has come @CMOMaharashtra
