The new quarterly VC numbers are out, and, still no sign of the collapse of Silicon Valley, or of the fast rise of alternative cities. The Valley is at 30% of all VC, Miami had a good quarter (but is still at 3.5%), Austin is at 1%. The big story is still LA, beating Boston again

1) Interesting to hear CEOs answer the question, "what drives shareholder value and equity returns?" So many answers. There is only one correct answer: growing FCF/share. And if going to burn, then the incremental FCF/share in out years must be *materially* higher.
