Reasons why 'transing' kids is a myth.
1. It's fucking impossible.
Kids don't do stuff they don't want to.
There's a reason parents repeat the same few instructions. Why we check toothbrushes. Why we end up howling: 'Just find your shoes!' at 8:32am every damn morning.

My son's deaf. Knew he couldn't hear when he was a toddler, but it's difficult to test a child that age.
He only got access to hearing aids & SEN support once officially diagnosed, after years of missed milestones.
Without diagnosis there is no support for any SEN child.

Go to an emergency dentist for a quick fix. They'll sort the pain, it's quite anonymous & you'll be out in minutes. Then register with a dentist specialising in nervous (i.e. terrified) patients for the longer-term stuff. Be kinder to yourself, it's fine.
