They told me the decision to stop my HRT and anti-androgen were final.

I did however learn that the doctor who had cancelled my medication (again) and had refused to reinstate it this time was the same doctor who had refused to refer me to a GIC in the first place all those years ago.

My GP practice regularly cancels my repeat prescriptions.
It's always the same doctor. It's also the same one who I now refuse to see because they refused to refer me to a GIC over a decade ago.
But, I'm sure that's all a coincidence...

Upon commenting on what a ridiculous scenario it was to take a trans person off their meds for what essentially amounts to indefinitely (multiple year wait list), I was told that the "decision had been made" and that that was the end of it.

HRT saved my life.
There has not been a single day since taking it where my life hasn't been significantly better.
I can't imagine a life without it.

My GP has told me today that because I am on that waiting list (which I have been informed is between 3-5 years), I am no longer eligible for my HRT or anti-androgen.
I HAVE BEEN TAKING THESE MEDICATIONS WITHOUT ISSUE FOR OVER 10 YEARS.
