Y’all, we just need places that children can BE. I get why it can’t be the library. But where the f*ck should it be then? Where can I take my kids when it’s cold outside and they are begging to leave the house? We don’t have money for a trampoline park every week. Tell me. WHERE.

An additional plea: museums are wonderful, they are a favorite of ours, and we visit often, but museums require a lot of supervision. I often feel anxiety that my children are bothering other patrons or might break something. Please, I need a place where my kids can be animals.

Community. Centers. Cost. Money. They cost money! I know the title makes it sound like it will be free, but this is America we’re talking about. My city rec center has a family membership that is $300 a year for residents. Maybe that’s not a lot for y’all, but it’s a lot for us.

You know, there’s a lot of things about Church that I struggle with right now, but the hardest part is feeling so strongly that I’m not wanted there. I could handle so much nonsense from the pulpit if I at least knew that we’re all just going through this mortal journey together.

It’s clear from their response that the @Ch_JesusChrist only cares about avoiding legal consequences. They don’t care about the harm caused, or the public horror, they care about lawsuits. This is why their reaction is, “we followed all the rules!!” instead of trying to fix it.

Pregnant people: anti-stretch mark lotions and creams are a scam. They. Are. A. SCAM. Stretch marks occur in deep tissue, not on the surface of the skin, and your lotions can’t reach them. They are mostly genetic. Don’t let the industry prey on your insecurities.

Easter is a good time to remember that revelation and heavenly visitations are not limited to men, or to authority. The Risen Lord purposely waited until Peter and John left the empty tomb before appearing to Mary, a woman. He chose her to be the mouthpiece of the resurrection.
