I've been meaning to put together a highlight reel for my pinned tweet like a high school football player who wants to keep doing sports as a grownup, or whatever. So here it is. https://t.co/pz0xPcmCWX
For my second date with my husband we met in NYC and went to a party and ended up at a McDonald's at 3:00 AM where he reached across the table, grabbed my hands, looked at me adoringly, and said "I hate this. I wanted to go to bed at 9:00. Do not expect this of me again."

@LHSummers Remember when you wrote to Epstein: “I'm trying to figure why American elite think if u murder your baby by beating and abandonment it must be irrelevant to your admission to Harvard, but hit on a few women 10 years ago and can't work at a network or think tank.”

“One unelected judge” like tens of thousands of us didn’t vote for prop 4 in 2018 only to have it summarily ignored by the lege and then litigated for 5 years after that.
This is a clear example of judicial activism. One unelected judge decided that her personal opinion outweighs Utah’s Constitution and the will of the people — and that’s unacceptable. Our Constitution should be interpreted, not rewritten from the bench. Utahns deserve judges who

@CandicePierucci You know that is not what happened. The legislature has behaved so dishonestly and a judge with integrity has responded. Voters in our state have a right to be heard.

Utah, I expect to see (bi-partisan) No Kings energy around any attempt by power-hungry legislators in our state who attack judges for simply doing their jobs. Judges who make them angry only because they disagree with what the legislature has done. This is incredibly important.

Hundreds of thousands of us voted for this 7 years ago and have had to sit by while the legislature tried every trick in the book to ignore the will of its voters. Now that (7 years later), the legislature is finally being forced to accept the will of the voters, they're having a

It’s nice to have an example of a principled conservative who believes in the rule of law. LG Henderson has always treated her office with immense respect & I think she’s owed some credit she doesn’t always get, especially contrasted to her former legislative colleagues’ actions.
There will likely be an emergency appeal, but the process of finalizing new boundary details will take weeks of meticulous work on the part of state and county officials. Barring an appellate court ruling, we must begin without delay to ensure that everything is in place for

I don't think you can say "We have defeated." The judge made a ruling in a redistricting case, but it has nothing to do with the House Democrats or the stupid redistricting war going on across the country.
We have defeated the Republican effort to steal a congressional seat in Utah. House Democrats stated months ago we will not let corrupt Republicans mathematically gerrymander their way to victory. We meant it.

Utah's judiciary remains top notch. We voted for this seven years ago, the legislature has done everything they could to ignore voters and hold onto power for themselves, and thanks to our courts, we will finally have fair congressional maps.
BREAKING: 3rd District Judge Dianna Gibson has ruled in the Utah redistricting case. She has BLOCKED Map C, SB1011 and picked plaintiff's Map 1 #utpol #utleg

Every time I have a column come out in the newspaper my sweet husband insists on buying a physical copy so he can read it and say "this one was really special." We love a cheerleader.

An excellent result. Chris is a truly thoughtful and humble city leader. I'm thrilled to see our city agrees.
A large cheer just erupted where I'm at in the Avenues, as District 3 incumbent Chris Wharton takes a pretty solid lead in his race Wharton - 44% McClary - 25% Huntsman-Hernandez - 18% As it stands, Wharton would win 51% to 28% over McClary in a third-round runoff
