Please don’t refuse appointments
It’s important you get the care you need. If you see a PA, ANP, etc during the consultation they can liaise with a Dr if needed or if you request it, and they can refer if needed,
Please don’t delay appointments regarding your health care. 🙏🏻

I agree that foundation Drs are badly paid, but can they operate on you if you’ve been in a RTA?
I didn’t think they could write a prescription without having it countersigned as they’re still training.

Our PA is great, PAs in general are great and are 💯 not what they’re being portrayed as on X.
That doesn’t mean I’m anti Dr. I think we need more Drs 💯
Our surgeries are changing the way they’re staffed, we have lots of different professions now, is that bad?

I think this is brilliant, we have PAs at my surgery and they’re amazing! Better than some Drs I’ve seen! A pathway for them to continue training to qualify as a Dr without them doing GEM is the way forward.
Drs who think otherwise are arrogant if you ask me.

The attempts to indoctrinate the public by some Drs heavily involved within the BMA is incredible, if you question it you get a pile on.

There are many wonderful Drs, no doubt about it.
MED X has a group of Drs whose sole intent is to destroy, claiming patient safety, this is a lie.
This is only about them.
Propaganda is being used to try and indoctrinate the public.
Mostly, the public won’t fall for it.

I disagree, I think they work well in the right setting,
Also, some are nurses, paramedics etc that have re-trained. Some are quite experienced, with a good 10/15 years experience.
Shame you had a bad experience, but there are many excellent PAs.

How can PAs be replacing Drs when there are about 3500 PAs and 6500 GP surgeries, and probably only half of those PAs work in primary care.
